Anne has been performing and researching Gaelic song since a child, having been born and brought up in Trotternish on the Isle of Skye. She is an accomplished performer having toured in many countries, being equally at home in a large festival, concert hall or small village hall. Her debut CD "Co...?" (Gaelic for "Who... ?") was released in 1998 to great acclaim, the Scotsman newspaper describing her singing as "awesomely beautiful". Her second CD "Nighean nan geug" is in partnership with the well known Ingrid Henderson and their act has been described by the Herald newspaper as ; "one of those uplifting occasions when an ancient legacy is rendered as current as the latest news bulletin." Anne is also a partner of a small and unique outdoor centre based in north Skye where she still lives.
